Adult Care Worker EPA (Coming Soon)

Level 2 - Coming soon

Adult Care Worker apprentices provide frontline care for vulnerable adults. They enable them to achieve their personal goals and live independently and safely, giving them control and choice in their lives.

What is the EPA for Adult Care Worker Level 2

The end point assessment (EPA) for Adult Care Worker Level 2 has two components:

  1. Situational Judgement Test
  2. Professional Discussion

The Situational Judgement Test is a multiple choice test. It contains 60 questions, and apprentices have a time limit of 1.5 hours to complete the full test.

Advance EPA delivers the Situational Judgement Test online, with a live invigilator. The invigilator will welcome the apprentice to the assessment, check their ID, and talk them through how the test will work. Once the apprentice is happy to start, their 1.5 hour time will begin.

The Professional Discussion is a one-to-one discussion between the apprentice and one of Advance EPA’s independent assessors. The discussion lasts 45 minutes. The assessor will use this time to guide the discussion and give the apprentice opportunity to show their competency.
