What is the EPA for Team Leader Level 3?

Team Leader Level 3 end point assessment (EPA) has two components:

1. Project Presentation, with questions
2. Professional Discussion underpinned by a portfolio of evidence

In the presentation with questions, the apprentice delivers a presentation to an independent assessor on a set subject. The independent assessor must ask questions after the presentation. It gives the apprentice the opportunity to demonstrate the KSBs mapped to this assessment method. The presentation and questions will last 50 minutes plus 10% (at the discretion of the independent assessor) if required. The presentation will  last for 20 minutes and the questioning will typically last for 30 minutes to provide scope for the apprentice to demonstrate their full competence.

In the professional discussion, an independent assessor and apprentice have a formal two-way conversation. It gives the apprentice the opportunity to demonstrate the KSBs mapped to this assessment method. The professional discussion must last for 60 minutes. The independent assessor can increase the time of the professional discussion by up to 10%. This time is to allow the apprentice to respond to a question if necessary.
