Associate Project Manager EPA (V1.3)
An associate project manager utilises resources with suitable skills, qualifications, experience, and knowledge to work together in a motivated and integrated team, with clearly defined reporting lines, roles, responsibilities and authorities. Dependent upon the size of the organisations and the complexity of projects, associate project managers’ job titles will vary, but typically they can include: assistant project manager, junior project manager, project team leader.
What is the EPA for Associate Project Manager Level 4?
There are two assessment methods for Associate Project Manager Level 4 EPA:
- Presentation supported by portfolio of evidence.
- Professional Discussion supported by portfolio of evidence.
Advance EPA helps providers prepare their apprentices for the Associate Project Manager EPA.
The presentation, with questions lasts 60 minutes. Delivered online the presentation lasts for 20 minutes with 40 minutes for questions by the IEPA to the apprentice. The presentation is based on the apprentices portfolio of evidence for each learning area chosen.
The Professional Discussion takes place online, by video call. The assessor will lead the discussion, guiding the apprentice to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours shown in the assessment plan, utilising the portfolio of evidence to assess understanding. The professional discussion will last 90 minutes.
